Kara Lissy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist in private practice in New York. She has received training from Postpartum Support International to support women with perinatal mental health, traumatic births, and fertility challenges. Kara also helps new mothers heal from family-of-origin trauma as they raise their own young children. She is passionate about breaking cycles, learning new patterns of thinking and giving tangible skills that clients can use in their day-to-day lives between sessions. She is fully licensed in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
